Rank Declaration

Ten ranks shall be awarded in each branch of  Engineering/Technology

A candidate shall be eligible for a rank at the time of award of degree in each branch of Engineering / Technology, provided he/she has

• Passed in all the subjects from I to VIII semester in FIRST attempt only.
• For award of rank in branch of Engineering / Technology the cumulative aggregate marks secured by the candidate from V to VIII semester shall be considered.
• Should not have repeated/rejected any of the lower semesters.
• Should have completed the prescribed course of study within 4 academic years.
• Ten ranks shall be awarded in Bachelor of Architecture.
• A candidate shall be eligible for a rank at the time of award of degree for the course of Bachelor of Architecture, provided he/she has:
• Passed in all the subjects from I to X semester in FIRST attempt only.
• For award of rank in branch of Engineering / Technology the cumulative aggregate marks secured by the candidate from VII to X semester shall be considered.
• Should not have repeated/rejected any of the lower semesters.
• Should have completed the prescribed course of study within 5 academic years

Three ranks shall be awarded in Post Graduate Degree in each branch of Engineering/Technology.A candidate shall be eligible for a rank at the time of award of Post Graduate Degree in each branch of Engineering / Technology, provided he/she has:

• Passed in all the subjects from I to IV semester in FIRST attempt only.
• For award of rank in branch of Engineering / Technology the cumulative aggregate marks secured by the candidate from I to IV semester shall be considered.
• Should not have repeated/rejected any of the lower semesters.
• Should have completed the prescribed course of study within 2 academic years
• Ten ranks shall be awarded in Master of Computer Applications.
• A candidate shall be eligible for a rank at the time of award of degree for the course of Master of Computsser Applications, provided he/she has:
• Passed in all the subjects from I to VI semester in FIRST attempt only.
• For award of rank in branch of Engineering / Technology the cumulative aggregate marks secured by the candidate from I to VI semester shall be considered.
• Should not have repeated/rejected any of the lower semesters.
• Should have completed the prescribed course of study within 3 academic years.

• A candidate shall be eligible for a rank at the time of award of degree for the course of Master of Business Administration, provided he/she has:
• Passed in all the subjects from I to IV semester in FIRST attempt only.
• For award of rank in branch of Engineering / Technology the cumulative aggregate marks secured by the candidate from I to IV semester shall be considered.
• Should not have repeated/rejected any of the lower semesters.
• Should have completed the prescribed course of study within 2 academic years.
